Shocktest of a critical element of an optical sensor to verifiy the sufficient strength with respect to separation and releasse shocks experimentallly
the element under test is a micro-structured silicon part has been investigated, which is especially prone to shocl loads
to reproduce the correct dynamic boundary conditions, the part of the component, which was not included in the test, has been substituted by a stiffness dummy (picture top, left), which has been developed by KRP-M using FE analyses
the shock tests have been performed on a mechanical impact device (KRP-M shock bench)
during testing, besides the correct application of the specified shock response spectrum (SRS), furthermore losses at the mechanical connections have been evaluated
