  • Shocktest of a critical element of an optical sensor to verifiy the sufficient strength with respect to separation and releasse shocks experimentallly
  • the element under test is a micro-structured silicon part has been investigated, which is especially prone to shocl loads
  • to reproduce the correct dynamic boundary conditions, the part of the component, which was not included in the test, has been substituted by a stiffness dummy (picture top, left), which has been developed by KRP-M using FE analyses
  • the shock tests have been performed on a mechanical impact device (KRP-M shock bench)
  • during testing, besides the correct application of the specified shock response spectrum (SRS), furthermore losses at  the mechanical connections have been evaluated
