  • the so called sunpassing in the case of a malfunctioning of the satellite attitude control system represents a high thermal load for optical components
  • optical components, which are located in the focus of the optical path, are subject to a thermal loa d of several MW/m2
  • withing the EnMAP project, a test setup for the sunpassing test of the slit component of an optical sensor under vacuum conditions was developed and realised, which was then integrated in the solar oven and the Xenon high power radiator of the DLR Institute for Solar Research
  • the slit component was tested with a representative solar spectrum under vacuum conditions
