- modal analysis (resulting in a design modification for increasing stiffness)
- random vibration analysis (including notching)
- thermo-mechanical analysis (deformation and stress)
- thermal analyses:
- verification of temperature stability of lamps and LEDs for guaranteeing a constant spectrum during calibration
- development of a method for modelling the correct thermal radiation of Halogen lamps and LEDs
- investigation of different calibration profiles with transient thermal analyses
