Determination of the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) fpr CFRP tapes with the scope of an ESA development project
The CTE for the tapes have been measured in the temperature range of -150°C to +150°C
Design and assembly of a test setup for the measurement of thermal elongation of CFRP tapes for extreme thermoelastic stability requirements
The special challenge for the design of the test setup was to achieve the high accuracy that is required for measuring very low CTE
