Measurement of leak rate for CFRP membranes in cryogenic conditions:

  • Design of permeability test facility and specimen integration
  • Temperatures: 77k (LN2 cooling) , 20K (LHe cooling)
  • Test gas: Helium
  • Test pressure: up to 15bar
  • Possibulity for to install additional sensors on specimen (e.g. strain gauges)
