Cryo - Vacuum / Hot - Vacuum Tensile Tests

Testing device for cryo-vacuum / hot-vacuum tensile test:

• Tensile test while specimen is exposed to vacuum and temperature loads
• Thermal vacuum chamber with LN2 and LHe thermal shrouds installed into universal tensile testing machine with diaphragm bellows feedthrough for the pull rod
• Temperature range: ~20K – 500°C
• Various clamps for different sample geometries
• Measurment technique like displacement sensors (e.g. strain gauge, extensometer) on specimen feasible
