About Us

A particular focus of the portfolio is the design of specialized test equipment as well as the planning and execution of tests for tasks in space and fusion research. KRP Mechatec GmbH offers many years of experience and expertise demonstrated in many projects in the implementation of complex and challenging test tasks.

Thermal vacuum and cryogenic temperatures up to 4K are among the core competencies of the test department. The employees of KRP Mechatec GmbH have an in-depth understanding of the special requirements of customers in aerospace and fusion research. Active thinking and anticipation of potentially critical points are an essential element of their daily work.

2002

Establishment

Our company was founded in 2002 as KRP Mechatec Engineering GbR.

2016

New premises

In 2016, KRP moved into new premises on the grounds of the Max Planck Institute in Garching.

The establishment of a dedicated, highly specialized test laboratory in the immediate vicinity of the offices represents a major improvement in the working environment.

The existing infrastructure on the Max Planck site enables organic expansion of the test department

2017

Renaming

Since 2017, KRP has been run under the name KRP Mechatec GmbH - initially by co-founder Markus Reindl as the sole shareholder.

2021

New duo

At the end of 2021, Mr. Reindl's daughter Sandra Goltze takes over 50% of the company shares.

Since then, the two have been managing KRP together as a managing director duo.

With around 20 permanent employees and a broad network of experts, KRP Mechatec GmbH has established itself as a medium-sized engineering service provider in the field of aerospace, fusion research and other high-tech industries.
