Thermal Vacuum and Low Pressure Testing

In our vacuum chambers of various geometries, test sample can not only be thermally cycled between -263°C (10 K) and 500°C in a high vacuum (down to 10-6 mbar), but also mechanical loads can be applied and electrical properties determined.
The tests are not only limited to materials, but also entire subsystem can be integrated into our vacuum chambers. Functional performance and condition monitoring are also part of our test repertoire. With cold traps, MOC and PAC samples outgassing products can be collected and analysed.
TVC1
The TVC1 thermal vacuum chamber provides a cost-efficient and reliable solution for standard tests, particularly for solar coupons. It is well-suited for routine testing where consistent performance and affordability are key.

Temperature: -180°C to +300° | Available envelope: 720 x 580 x 315 mm³
Temperature: -258°C to +150° | Available envelope: 645 x 480 x 260 mm³
TVC2
The TVC2 thermal vacuum chamber can cycle small samples at very high speeds, making it a cost-efficient solution for smaller components. It also operates with a high degree of automation, enabling efficient and reliable testing.

Temperature: -180°C to > +200° | Available envelope: Ø 180 mm x length 1400 mm
TVC4
The TVC4 thermal vacuum chamber offers the advantage of a length of up to 1.9 meters, making it particularly well-suited for testing long components such as CFK struts or booms. In addition, it can cycle overnight using liquid helium, enabling extended low-temperature testing.

Temperature: -180°C to +300° | Available envelope: Ø 600 mm x length 1940 mm
Temperature: -253°C to +300° | Available envelope: Ø 520 mm x length 1690mm
TVC5
The TVC5 thermal vacuum chamber offers the advantage of a cubic design and a large front door, making it particularly well-suited for testing technically complex assemblies. In addition, the chamber can be integrated into a universal tensile testing machine (UTM), enabling mechanical tests under vacuum and temperature conditions, especially at very low temperatures.

Temperature: -180°C to > +200°C | Available envelope: 640 x 640 x 540 mm³
Temperature: -253°C to > +200°C | tbc, currently under development
All Chambers can achieve a vacuum level of <1e-5 mbar.
The number of thermal cycles depends on your needs (test requirements, time schedule, budget, etc.). We do not have a limit of cycles.

    Customer-specific solutions

Your tests should not be carried out under high vacuum but at a specific negative pressure?
We can attach pressure regulators to our chambers to create low pressure environments like a Martian atmosphere, for example.
